Interior architectural signage should not only be aesthetically pleasing, but comply with all local and federal codes, such as ADA guidelines. The signage system shown is a good example of Dura’s attention to detail when constructing signs using mixed materials. A light frosting on a simulated glass back-plate with polished edge highlights the room’s use, while the room number is manufactured from laser-cut custom tinted tactile letters and corresponding precision cast Braille beads mounted onto a satin aluminum L-angle. The concealed mounting provides a 3 dimensional look to the signage that would otherwise have a flat appearance.
